Who Are We?
First spotted in 2020 during the centenary celebrations of Rabat’s Cathedral Saint-Pierre, the Moroccan Chamber Choir (CCDM) is now considered the Kingdom’s leading choral ensemble, with regular contributions to the Kingdom’s musical scene.
Founded in September 2020 by director Amine Hadef, the CCDM quickly rose to prominence among international ensembles.
It is the first Moroccan classical music ensemble to hold the honor of representing Morocco at the opening of the 26th edition of the prestigious Fès International Festival of Sacred Music in 2022, under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
Reflecting contemporary Morocco and its cultural and religious diversity, the CCDM brings together an array of talent from various backgrounds (Moroccan, European, and Sub-Saharan).
Handpicked and technically trained by Amine Hadef, singers are united in their pursuit of excellence, offering audiences vibrant musical colors and vocal quality worthy of an exceptional repertoire.

Our Repertoire
Propelled by their passion and talent, CCDM choir members take pleasure in introducing their audience to a broad repertoire of music, taking them on an unforgettable musical journey.
Indeed, the choir draws from a vast and demanding repertoire, ranging from Renaissance music to contemporary scores, mainly Western.
An unwavering pedagogue, Amine Hadef focuses on the artistic, vocal, and musical training of his singers.
While waiting to establish his own chamber orchestra, he is studying collaboration proposals with the Royal Symphonic Orchestra, as well as with prestigious international orchestras, notably with the Renaissance ensemble La Fenice, directed by Jean Tubery, and “Le concert spirituel” directed by Hervé Niquet. Such collaboration projects would allow the CCDM to shine a positive light on Morocco while representing it from abroad.
The Choir Director
Born in Casablanca, Amine Hadef started playing the piano at the age of 10 with Yvette Bayle. By 13, he was learning the organ under Gilberte Milian, the principal organist of the grand organ at Notre-Dame de Lourdes in Casablanca.
He was introduced to opera singing and choral repertoire at 16 with Louis Péraudin in Rabat, before making the decision to dedicate his life to music. In 1998, he became a part of the prestigious “Jeune Chœur de Paris” (Young Choir of Paris) and further refined his skills at the Paris Conservatory.
Amine Hadef also spent two years at the Maîtrise de Notre Dame de Paris, under the guidance of Nicole Corti. There, he honed his skills in solo singing and choral conducting. This laid the foundation for a career in opera singing, under the direction of some of the world’s most renowned conductors such as H. Niquet, D. Herrewegh, F. Lassere, E. Haim, and L. Equilbey.
Throughout his lyrical artist career, Amine Hadef performed in countries including France, China, Norway, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Poland. He has recorded around twenty albums, with one being nominated for the Grammy Awards.
In 2012, he chose to return to Morocco, the country close to his heart. There, he was appointed as the principal organist at Notre-Dame de Lourdes in Casablanca and, in 2021, at the Saint Pierre Cathedral in Rabat.
Guided by a pedalogical calling, Amine Hadef is dedicated to the artistic, vocal, and musical training of the choristers.

The Moroccan Chamber Choir wishes to contribute to the enrichment of the Kingdom’s musical cultural landscape.
To support the choir’s mission and its upcoming events, financial backing from companies and institutions is needed. This support is intended to cover the choir’s various expenses (remuneration for the choir conductor and the choristers, communication and advertising, musical equipment, ticketing, logistics, etc.).
